Business Operations of your home-based business is a topic that seems to get overlooked too often. While everyone writes about hot topics, like SEO and lead generation, we’ve yet to see anyone forewarn us about the importance of coming up with a systematic approach for tracking our business gains and losses from the get-go.  As a newbie, this is mainly known as losses – business expenses. The topic may be briefly mentioned, but since it is not considered an income generating activity, it is quickly brushed over.

Notice the huge wave of online videos today? People are now making videos for everything from a “how-to” to a “how-dy”. Unless you’re a born stage-performer, you enjoy being the center of attention, or you love being filmed, getting into the groove of this video-ized world is overwhelming. Although technology has eased the efforts required to generate a video, getting used to the limelight is an entirely different matter. Half the population consider themselves shy and/or introverted.

When you first join a Direct Marketing company, you’re typically asked to define your reason why.  Up-lines want to know what will drive you to succeed.  Often, up-lines use this information to motivate you, hold you accountable, or possibly even to judge if they think you’re serious enough to persist and succeed. Your success depends on the power of your why and vision to dream.

The best advice you’ll ever hear about MLM prospecting in the age of technology pertains to the connections you make along your pathway. Genuine relationships, especially friendships, made along the way are the most beneficial gifts to give and to receive. Too often, people are so wrapped up in making money and / or hitting goals, they lose sight of people struggling all around them. It is easy to postpone newbies or step away from those who are unable to jump right in and run full speed from the get-go.
